different propellant charge
[edit]"The same ammunition type was used, but, based on the lower effective ceiling, with a different propellant charge."
Obviously The Breda 35 and the Scotti 20/77 used the same ammunitions with the same charge. Simply the Breda was a gas-operated locked bolt weapon, while the Scotti was a delayed blowback (gas unlocked) recoil-operated weapon. The latter system (thus reducing the weight and simplifying the construction of the weapon) providing a less stable locking and therefore a slightly reduced (about 10m/s) muzzle velocity. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.43.75.201 (talk) 17:14, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
