[edit]I have family ties to Canterbury New Brunswick, and would like to correspond with someone who has access to the history of the town and the town's vital records between, say, 1850 and 1900. Also, I would welcome discussion with someone having knowledge of the legal questions of citizenship for those people who were back and forth over the Amity line. For instance, what was the citizenship status of people born in the United States, married in New Brunswick, then returned to the United States, having children born both in Canada and the US? Were marriages of that sort recognized in both countries? Were the children entitled to either Canadian or US citizenship, or both? Did the wife automatically assume the citizenship of the husband?Dlstefane 02:06, 28 July 2007 (UTC)dlstefane@ hotmail.com
