Method of Execution

[edit]
Shooting is the only form of execution currently known to be used in Yemen. Stoning and
beheading is also permitted by law.

and

The last official execution of a minor in Yemen occurred on 21 July 1993, when 13-year-old
Naseer Munir Nasser al-Kirbi and three other men were hung in the capital Sana'a on charges
of murder and highway robbery.

One presumes that the use of "currently" here excludes 20 years ago.

Oh, and people are "hanged" rather than "hung," as in, "The sentence of this court is that you be hanged by the neck until dead." Dick Kimball (talk) 15:51, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, shooting is the only method known to currently be in use; that is the intended presumption. I should probably make a note of that under the "Methods" section. As to your second point, you are correct, and I will change that right away.
Thank you very much for your feedback. And for future reference Dick, you don't have to discuss every niggling detail on the article's talk page before editing. Be bold — if something obviously needs to be changed, don't hesitate to do so. In fact, I strongly encourage it. =) Kurtis (talk) 00:52, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
