Release schedule

[edit]

The article currently says "The series maintained an irregular publishing schedule," before giving the start and end dates of publication. Near as I can tell, the dates work out to a near-monthly release. Am I missing something? Argento Surfer (talk) 16:17, 15 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, the full release schedule is here: [1]. The series wasn't strictly a monthly series, as two issues were released in September 2015. Morgan695 (talk) 18:14, 15 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Infobox complete, comic cover image, good use of selected quote in themes section. Passes illustration
  • Copyvio check clear. Passes copyright
  • History and talk page clear. Passes stability
  • All reliable sources
  • Good variety of sources
  • Everything cited inline that should be
  • Passes verifiability
  • Neutral language and plot summary, simple comment on award, even review coverage Passes neutrality
  • The response section seems quite short. There are only three reviews mentioned, but even so, I imagine that more could be summarized from the three: each currently only receives a sentence.
  • If Dave Stewart won an award for coloring, why isn't he mentioned in development? Are there other people that should be?
  • Coverage in the other sections good
  • Coverage needs attention
  • Lead and plot sections are appropriate lengths.
  • It's very well written, both in terms of grammar and style.
  • Plot maintains good tone and does not slip into fictional
  • Standard sections, structure and layout
  • You could potentially square bracket in the quote "drove me crazy for a while" to say "drove [him] crazy..."
  • The incorporation of Chris Galvin's quote breaks grammar a little bit - the intro to it could be altered so that it works.
  • Style passes - one note to be considered edits made - looks good Kingsif (talk) 03:31, 6 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Very nice article. Kingsif (talk) 00:16, 6 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • @Kingsif: Edits have been made. Re: Stewart's inclusion in the article, Loeb and Sale were the chief creative forces behind the series, (per the series' editor, "Jeph and Tim put their hearts and souls into this series and have produced -- along with color guru Dave Stewart and the design geniuses at Comiccraft -- what I think the best of their iconic collaborations"), and I couldn't find any press where Stewart discussed the series beyond being briefly mentioned by Loeb and Sale. Stewart's Eisner Award was won for all of the coloring work that he completed in 2009, rather than White specifically (White was one of seven titles he won the award for), which is why I gave the award a token mention rather than specific focus.
