Carbohydrases capable of synthesis?[edit]

Can you please cite a scientific reference to support this? Carbohydrases are known to have hydrolytic functions not synthetic ones. In breaking up a complex polysaccharide this will produce smaller molecules of dissacharides but they don't synthesize this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 119.95.53.142 (talk) 09:58, 27 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
