Bad standards[edit]

This article, especially the list of works, is of a terrible standard and should never have been published here in this state. As a German poet and composer, the titles of Blum's works can never have been in English. And the translations used here have obviously been done with the help of Google Translate with no knowledge whatsoever of the German language. I am inclined to delete it altogether.

And: how can a poet/dramatist who died in 1844 can have works first performed in the 1860s and '70s? This may happen on occasion, but hardly as many as here. And if he was so important for the guitar, why are there no guitar compositions in his work-list?

Now, I can remedy some of this, but I would appreciate the cooperation of the original contributor.Aklein62 (talk) 17:22, 1 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, rather than wait for a response I will now exchange the list of works with the help of the German version of this article. There I also found a list of guitar works. Aklein62 (talk) 17:32, 1 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Carl Blum street image[edit]

The Carl Blum street in Wels that is pictured is not named after the composer! It is named after a local businessman who opened a factory there 2001:4BB8:1E3:C107:381F:5316:EC6C:B042 (talk) 18:24, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
