Errors

[edit]

This article is fraught with errors, because it has absolutely no relation to the latest scholarly Dittersdorf literature.--88.117.70.104 (talk) 18:32, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

And he was born "in[!] the Laimgrube"? This is hilariously false.--194.166.20.66 (talk) 18:25, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
He was born "in the Laimgrube (now Mariahilf) district of Vienna". The sentence is fine. I'm not vouching for the quality of the rest though.--Cookerid (talk) 08:38, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
If you actually knew what the Laimgrube was, you'd know that one cannot be born "in the Laimgrube".--2A02:8388:8180:B000:15CA:3BF3:EB6C:CE11 (talk) 11:39, 26 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

"Ditters was sent to Vienna"

[edit]

No, he wasn't. One needn't go to Vienna to apply for a title of nobility.--2A02:8388:8180:B000:15CA:3BF3:EB6C:CE11 (talk) 11:37, 26 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

August?

[edit]

"the six-year-old August Carl"

When was 'August' added to his name?
