Need to clarify "who" Carl Fenton is.[edit]

Obviously the answer is not entirely obvious, but here are the three main points to consider: The name was invented by Haenschen... For use by Brunswick... And was legally taken over by Greenberg.

I would argue that Fenton did NOT die when Haenschen did, but when Greenberg did.

First, Haenschen (to my knowledge) did not use the name after he left Brunswick in 1927.

Second, the name ceased to be when Greenberg died.

Imagine a corporate brand was created by corporation A but sold to corporation B in the 1920s. B then goes under in 1940, and A goes belly-up in 1980. Do we then say that the brand died in 1980? Doubtful.

Possible solutions: Handle the name "Carl Fenton" entirely as a band name. Handle it as part (even the major part) of a Greenberg bio.
