Unamed thread

Are you kidding me? If we talk about Nationalities, Carlos Arroyo is American. All Puerto Ricans are born with American Citizenship. There is no Puerto Rican Citizenship. -User:Homer89

In sports Puerto Rico has Olympic independence, there's that and the fact that Puerto Rico is still a commonwealth and removing the distintion might get some people mad. -Dark Dragon Flame 22:16, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Yes but only in sports. So we can refer to Arroyo as a Puerto Rican basketball player. But as a person Arroyo is an American. He travels on an American passport and when he's in any country in the world they will consider him American, not Puerto Rican. No country in the world recognizes Puerto Rican nationality. So I'm changing that bit in the infobox, as well as that for other Puerto Rican sportspeople. Kraikk 11:36, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
