No Doubt

[edit]

I added information about No Doubt's surprise concert in 2001 sponsored by MTV for the show "Jammed." Please add/edit/comment. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.243.133.15 (talk) 04:09, 28 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notable Alumni

[edit]

I removed all redlinked names from the section formerly known as "Successful/Famous CHS Alumni". If an alumnus is notable enough to be listed here, then they are ostensibly notable enough to have a Wikipedia article. OscarTheCat3 02:32, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that Tony Hawk was listed as a notable alum, although there was a statement in parentheses next to his name that he did not attend Carlsbad High School and graduated from Torrey Pines High School. Did he, in fact, attend this school, and are there any reliable sources to back this up? If not, I think it's best to remove him from the list altogether. I've done a little searching on the matter. I believe what happened is that somebody, seeing that he was born in Carlsbad, added him to the list assuming he went to Carlsbad. No sources that I found say Carlsbad, only Torrey Pines. There was even an article about him coming to speak at Carlsbad, and never once mentioned him being an alum. I believe what then happened is that somebody else decided to, for some reason, not remove the content but add the disclaimer. (I only started watching the page recently and must have missed that). I will remove the information shortly. Willsome429 (say hey or see my edits!) 16:08, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

What is wrong with the Football Field?

[edit]

I recently visited the high school for a baseball game. The football field was double fenced off. The field itself was overgrown and looked like it had all types off weeds in there. Does anybody know what happened to the field? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Idiotonuni (talkcontribs) 15:16, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
