NY Times article[edit]

I have linked to an article which appeared today. I believe that this should give credence to the fact that this artiste is notable. JohnClarknew (talk) 05:25, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I was trying to sound French. Artiste. JohnClarknew (talk) 13:27, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

English language problems[edit]

One sentence reads "She met in 1939 English teacher Jesse Loewenthal". Shouldn't it better be "In 1939 she met English teacher Jesse Loewenthal" or "She met English teacher Jesse Loewenthal in 1939"?

In another sentence it says "a search from the greatest possible simplicity". Surely it should say "a search for the greatest possible simplicity".

Perhaps it's a good idea if a native English speaking person would read the article and rephrase sentences that don't sound English. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.206.89.132 (talk) 15:49, 16 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
