Will be reviewing. Comments coming soon. Bneu2013 (talk) 04:02, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Update - after further analysis, I don't think this article is ready. The biggest issue is that it doesn't appear to meet criteria 3a. For example, for a nearly 150 year old station, there is very little mentioned in the way of the station's history. The description of the station is rather short too. I would recommend taking a look at other railway station GAs, such as Brooklyn Bridge–City Hall/Chambers Street station, which I just reviewed. While this is a much larger station, it should give you an idea of the kinds of additions you should consider. Bneu2013 (talk) 04:33, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Infobox and lead
  • Carnegie railway station is a commuter railway station located in the suburb of Carnegie, in the southeastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. - suggest rewording to something like "Carnegie railway station is a commuter railway station located in Carnegie, a southeastern suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia."
  • Is there any reason why all four bus routes are not named in the lead?
  • Spell out "Flinders Street railway station" in the last lead sentence.
Description
  • Different figures of the distance to the Flinders Street station than those in the lead.
  • Combine second and third paragraphs.
History
  • Any information on the pre-construction background of this station?
  • When did construction begin?
  • Surely there were other changes and renovations that took place between 1879 and the present that are worth mentioning?
