The difference is that Bluesfest has a proven track-record and years of growth and continued success. This article is highly biased, as it is written by the Carnivale Lune Bleue promotions team. —Preceding unsigned comment added by MisterOscar (talkcontribs) 19:58, 29 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This page should not be deleted, as this is a legitimate event that has already occurred/is ongoing, and that has been covered by both of the major Ottawa newspapers (and these articles have been referenced many times within this Wiki).

If this article gets deleted, then perhaps we should delete those for other local events such as the Ottawa Bluesfest, as the Wiki for that event contains zero references to back up its information and it can be argued that it does nothing but "promote the event".

You're just asking for deletion, since you haven't even bothered to reread for basic things like faulty logic.

Take these statements:

"We have a spectacular 1938 Allen Herschell three-abreast wooden carousel and the first ever Big Top used by Cirque du Soleil," he explains. "Every tent on the grounds is an authentic recreation of the canvas tents not used or seen since the 1940s."

The Cirque du soleil was founded in 1984 so how can every tent on the ground be "an authentic recreation of the canvas tents not used or seen since the 1940s."? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.55.186.243 (talk) 03:50, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
