Notability[edit]

I removed the notability tag. With multiple mentions of Madsen's work in bibliographies, with her having been president of the Utah Women's History Association and of the Mormon Historical Association, with BYU having named an award after her, and with many references in publications she has no control over, I think it is safe to say she is notable. Her work on Mormon women's history is widely recognized as among the best, and she has been praised as one of the founding mothers of the discipline.John Pack Lambert 06:58, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
