WPTexas and C-class

[edit]

I provisionally assigned a C-class label for the wikiprojects, but this needs a second eye. I also added WPTexas for obvious reasons. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 14:20, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going for the brass ring and will put this in nomination for good article status. Even if it fails GA hopefully it will wind up as B-class if it's not there already. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 01:57, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Scratch that, with one of the major references dead, it will be impossible to get to B-class much less GA until I can get a hardcopy to cite page numbers. Alternatively, the material can be removed, but that would gut the entry back to C-class anyways. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 02:53, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Only obvious block to GA is the broken reference. Unfortunately, this is also a block to B-class. The rest checks out and this can be nominated as soon as all references are properly cited.
Removed unsupported material. Now meets referencing criteria for B-class. However, the missing information and possibly the writing itself may be GA issues. GA review will bring this out, I'm too close to the article to be a good judge. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 05:42, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Death House vs. death house

[edit]

I'm leaving Death House capitalized as it is used as a proper noun. I don't think it's the official name, but it is used as a nickname. Nicknames like Jimmy or the Big Apple are typically capitalized. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 01:55, 2 December 2008 (UTC) Internet searches show the term lowercased. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 05:09, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting back to uppercase in most cases, "Death House" seems to be the preferred style when referring to a specific death house. wiktionary:death house updated also. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 19:31, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Video Interview

[edit]

You have to scroll through the first two guests, but there is an interview with Carrol Pickett. 69.140.147.133 (talk) 22:29, 8 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This posting appears to be the result of a linkspamming campaign. ThemFromSpace 15:27, 21 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Do you have evidence to support a campaign? I glanced at this earlier and did not add it to the article, and interestingly enough, neither did the anonymous editor above. It's probably fine to leave it on the talk page, considering it's ignored by search engines.davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 17:00, 21 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
