– Carterton always a major notability town or i suggest leave out the way it is. I know Carterton is a daffodil capital of New Zealand but also there is a Carterton in England. I don't know if New Zealand or a English town has more significant notability. Angry Bald English Villian Man Chat 04:42, 6 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose no evidence that this is the absolute majority subject in Google Books. In ictu oculi (talk) 09:41, 6 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose I'm not seeing anything to indicate that the New Zealand place is the primary topic. Keeping the current setup allows for easy identification of incoming links too. Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 17:45, 6 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment. You don't even sound convinced of this move...Zarcadia (talk) 00:02, 8 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. No primary topic. The town in England is quite a lot larger and neither are especially well-known. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:51, 9 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose, as there simply isn't a primary topic. It would be a hard push to argue that the New Zealand place is 'more important', given that the English place has twice the population. Schwede66 18:12, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. No primary topic, AND, obscure small towns in NZ are known with ", New Zealand" when introduced in an international context. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 03:45, 14 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
