BORN IN 1902 OR 1903?[edit]

HIS TOMBSTONE SAYS HE WAS BORN IN 1902, AND ONE OBIT. I SAW STATES HE WAS 96 WHEN HE DIED. WHICH ONE IS IT? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.114.40.35 (talk) 13:51, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Both are correct. rags (talk) 22:38, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Extent of chain of stores[edit]

The "Knoxville area" is inadequate to show the chain's areal extent at its height; there was a store in Big Stone Gap, Virginia but I have no published source to prove this, only my own recollection, which is of course mere original research. Also, in conjunction with the stores, Cas had his own brand of Green Stamps, "CR" (Consumers' Reserve) which merit mention. There was also a "Cas Walker Associate Store" on Western Ave. well after most if not all of the other stores were closed; would like to know the nature of this arrangement and what other similar ones there were, if any, 75.216.33.28 (talk) 22:38, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Political career[edit]

"Walker was reelected...the following and remained until voluntarily retiring..." The following year? The following term? This kind of error crops up after multiple edits, over multiple years. I could probably dig through the history and figure it out, but frankly, I don't have the time. Somebody knows. Please fix this. Thanks. rags (talk) 22:16, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
