Colonial Historians

The Non Dravidian historians (Aryans Nagas and Europeans) during the colonial era tried to identify the Chera Dynasty as the progenitor of the Naga kingdoms of laterday.The Europeans who tried to ignore the enormous differences between the Dravidian Tamils who formed the Chera Dynasty and the Naga/Bunt (community) who formed the laterday kingdoms after 1310 ad. The European allies of Nagas of Kerala tried to hide the Dravidian legacy of the various Tamil Kingdoms of Kerala including Chera dynasty and Ay kingdom.
