Not Steinbeck's Castle Rock[edit]

Steinbeck's Castle Rock is located in Corral de Tierra, Salinas, CA. See p. 15, Steinbeck Country: Exploring the Settings for the Stories by David A. Laws; footnotes on page 231 of Steinbeck's "The Long Valley"; and numerous other sources. I am deleting that reference from this page. Rednikki (talk) 18:31, 25 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Upon further review, it appears that a previous editor conflated Castle Rock in Corral de Tierra with Castle Rock in Santa Cruz. I have deleted all references to Castle Rock in Corral de Tierra (including info on the Markham Ranch development), as the two locales are over 50 miles apart.
