Norfolk Academy Incident

[edit]

The last two lines of the article are based on my experiences at CHS, since I go there everyday. They represent the majority attitude towards the event. The conspiracy part is based on conversations I have had where people have stated that people at Academy think that every student was involved. ABoredMan 16:50, 26 February 2007 (EST)

Thats true, only one or two students were involved in the writing, and these people arent known. Its unfair to brand everyone with the actions of a few, especially given the state those few were in at the time of the writing. --William 02:49, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

William, do you go to CHS? --User:ABoredman 15:24, 27 February 2007 (EST)

Yeah, I do. --wahoo6942 01:59, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Bishop Sullivan CHS Logo.jpg

[edit]

Image:Bishop Sullivan CHS Logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

School renamed Catholic High School

[edit]

The Diocese of Richmond has directed the school to change its name.[1] From June 27, 2019 the school is to be called "Catholic High School". The school's own website already reflects the new name.[2] This has been noted in the lede paragraph and the title for the infobox. However, the references through the rest of the article to "Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School" or "BSCHS" should be changed. Finally, the article for the school should be moved (renamed) to be something like "Catholic High School (Virginia)" or "Catholic High School (Virginia Beach, Virginia)" to distinguish it from other high schools called "Catholic High School". — Archer1234 (talk) 23:34, 28 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed "Bishop Sullivan" from the name of the school throughout the text (but not from references) and replaced BSCHS with CHS. I moved (renamed) the article to "Catholic High School (Virginia)" and added a link from the "Catholic High School (disambiguation) page. "Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School" now redirects to this article. I revised the wikilink to "Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School" in the {{Roman Catholic Diocese of Richmond}} and {{Tidewater Conference}} navboxes. — Archer1234 (talk) 02:22, 30 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
