A Needed Aritcle

[edit]

I have just read this and it reads like a school prosepctus. If this was for a comapny we would'nt allow it - It would be seen as adevertising. Is this OK for a school? I would appreicate some help and comments in this.

Thanks

Years on and this is still true. The tone of this article is far too promotional. I'll fix it up when I can but right now I've added tags. BZTMPS · (talk? contribs?) 01:21, 11 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah

[edit]

This is being edited by the priciple spwilliams13 - to make the college out as something that it isnt.

This is advertising - either delete it, or allow for a less biased review of the college.

Wrong location indicated on map

[edit]

The map showing the location of the school is wrong. The address for the school is correct. The post code should locate the school in Oakham not Uppingham. I have no idea how to edit this. Hornseaandaway (talk) 22:14, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Query regarding History

[edit]

History says "1976 – New library and new science block". I was there in 1980-85 and the Library was still on its original shelves in the original quadrangle buildings. The newest block at the back held Maths, Science, and Art/Design. 82.15.66.147 (talk) 18:45, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Alumni

[edit]

I know that Nina Sosanya was definitely at Catmose because I was in the same form as her. However, how I cite my own college experience, is something I don't know ... 82.15.66.147 (talk) 18:50, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia needs to have citations in publicly available sources; personal experience does not qualify, sorry! Laterthanyouthink (talk) 06:15, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well, a "N. Sosanya" is on the 1985 list of VCC 'O' Level results (Stamford Mercury - Friday 30 August 1985, available on BNA) so likely true but not full confirmation. Nedrutland (talk) 07:56, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
