In my view, this page needs to be merged into the Udi language page, which should be called just Udi language.

“Albanian” in the name

Caucasian Albanian bears no linguistic relationship whatsoever with the modern Indo-European Albanian, the language of Albania ? Ok, so why are we using the word Albanian? Humanity ran out of words? :) Can anybody expand? Humans look very bizarre like that! Thy, :) SvenAERTS (talk) 12:56, 2 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Is this riddle simpler than it seems? The lede paragraph says it was spoken in the former state of Caucasian Albania. I'm guessing that the location it was used is why it's called that, not any links to modern Albanian. DRMcCreedy (talk) 16:59, 2 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
