The spelling of her name

[edit]

The correct way to do this is to discuss it here first, not edit war with moves. Almost all sources list the spelling as "Jaitley". Her website, facebook and twitter however, spell it as "Jaitly". Can someone explain why this is so? Did she maybe recently change the spelling of her name? Discuss here first, then contemplate moving the article name. BollyJeff | talk 14:02, 23 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Most of the sources cant agree in their own articles on the spelling. The reason it was moved was due to a request on the BLP noticeboard. As she self-identifies it as being spelled without an e, thats the way it should go. Of the sources, the main offender 'The Times India' is currently running a small article where they acknowledge the Jaitly spelling. Only in death does duty end (talk) 14:26, 23 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Can you post a link to the request? Ideally it should have been put here before the move. BollyJeff | talk 14:38, 23 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
