Wikipedia a 'TV Guild' and a music & movie review??[edit]

Is Wikipedia an encyclopedia or is it becoming a media-rag like the 'The Rolling Stone'? Aside from the misleading and ambiguous page title, petty and incidental subjects like this, that are only of interest to a hand full of kids, most of whom probably never read Wikipedia, have no business being included in an encyclopedia. Can you imagine finding an article like this in Encyclopedia Britanica? There is no way the 'quality control' editors would allow such a waste of resources and time, just to appease a few individuals. Their first concern is for the average reader. Is this true for Wikipedia? Articles like this belong in a song or movie review forum, not in an educational reference like an encyclopedia. If there was a page for every 'album', 'movie' and 'song' wikipedia's resources would be unfairly divided from those who reference wikipedia regularly. If movies and songs are allowable subjects there should be some criteria and requirements involved. What's next, a Wiki'page for each and every song, band and movie?
