Union of Central Asian republics!!
[edit]This is not good, you are being sucked into a New World Order, they want one world currency in the end and One World Government. Guess what you won't be running it, some cocaine snorting money hungry power freak private bankers will be.
i will be changing this Page's name from Central Asian Union, into Union of Central Asian Republics (UCAR), i have foudn that the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, has used this term instead of Central Asian Union ..

I think this is bad for all, One World Government, one currency for all eventually, is not what we want. We know what you are up to, you can't take over the world. Watch ya back! you and your families will be removed from existance. Pata Pleadies star system
This article and wikipedia are not the appropriate forum for a discussion of the pros and cons and personal opinions of a world government. I suggest you take such comments elsewhere. This article is to discuss documentablt facts about the proposed union, its details and whether or not it is in process of forming. Goodleh (talk) 00:53, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
Image Removal
[edit]I removed this image for a few reasons. First, what is being talked about here is an economic union if anything. The republics would still maintain their own political boundaries. Second, even if they were to combine, it'd be surprising if Turkmenistan would be part of it, given their permanently neutral stance. Finally, why would the capital automatically be in Tashkent, especially if it's a union proposed and driven by the President of Kazakhstan? Otebig 05:39, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

Changes
[edit]I have edited this a bit, for some reason the introduction did not have a mention of Tajikistan, although it is on the map and the table, and the map's caption was not about a economic union, but a federation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chipmunkdavis (talk • contribs) 12:54, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

2004 dissolution?
[edit]Open paragraph mentions original organ was dissolved in 2004, but nothing at all about this in the main article which simply stops the history at 1997. 2A02:C7C:364D:A400:6D6F:712A:7659:FB17 (talk) 2A02:C7C:364D:A400:6D6F:712A:7659:FB17 (talk) 07:47, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
