I've commented out the photo which purported to show Reblican militiamen shooting at a statue of Christ because its source, subject and purpose are unknown. This page also discusses the notorious shooting incident, stating that it occurred on 28 July 1936, while the monument itself was destroyed on 7 August 1936. 28 July 1936 is the date when the Spanish government ordered the confiscation of Church property in Spain.[1]Drutt (talk) 23:16, 22 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
