Stats[edit]

Any chance of getting statistics for these in active duty? Ie, how many were used in vietnam? How many were lost?

Rhodesia's RhAF and Central Intelligence Organization also operated the O-2, though they called it the Lynx and it was armed a bit heavier than the O-2 was in Vietnam. 68.202.55.186 05:57, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"B.S. BOMBER"[edit]

I would like the fact that this aircraft (O-2B) was nicknamed the "B.S. Bomber" included in this article, It is quoted from the book "Wings for the world II" by William D. Thompson. I have heard that term for this aircraft at Oshkosh, and many other airshows. The ISBN is 0-89288-257-3, the page number is 73,It was published in 1995, second paragraph on the left side, last sentce. "It was affectionately known as the 'Bullshit Bomber.'" Remove UNrelated aircraft[edit]

It seems to me that the Adam A500 is not really related to the O-2 except that centerline thrust is used. I'm not sure why the AVE Mizar is included as if it were an actual production aircraft, it was a marketing stunt by a car dealer as far as I know. Altaphon (talk) 07:40, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Army O-2 Skymaster[edit]

Article states that 2 Navy airframes were transferred to the Army in 1990. It appears that 68-11149 and 68-11150 were transferred from the USAF to Army service. They appear to have been at Tempelhof in 1978.
