Simultaneous Indoor and Outdoor Soccer Careers

[edit]

Chad Vandegriffe played two seasons of indoor soccer with the St. Louis Ambush, then played outdoor soccer for Saint Louis FC during what is the offseason for indoor soccer, and now has returned to the Ambush this fall to play during what is outdoor soccer's offseason, without any outright indication that he will not once again be playing for Saint Louis FC this coming spring.

I have marked the bio box with two continuous/ongoing spells of playing, one for/with each of these teams. Is this permissible? Or does each stint require a separate entry when interrupted by playing for the other team? (In this case, it would be two seasons with the Ambush, followed by a season with STLFC, followed by at least this season with the Ambush, possibly then followed by another season with FC, etc. etc.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Swordopolis (talkcontribs) 07:11, 27 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that the correct style is to count the moves from outdoor to indoor teams (and vice versa) as completely separate spells of playing time in the player's infobox, and I have done so accordingly. Swordopolis (talk) 06:07, 16 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
