[edit]There are many places of interest in Chainpur. These are as under:
- Kaali Mandir (Old and new both),
- Neel Kanth Mandir (one of the oldest Mahadev Temples of Mithila region),
- Durga mandir,
- Vishnu Ghar,
- newly built Radha Krishna Mandir (Kuti) etc.
There are several schools in the village. These are
- Shashikala Middle School,
- High School Chainpur,
- Girl Middle School,
- Three primary school,
- Kaalika Sanskrit College.
Almost all the hindu festivals are celebrated in this village.
- Deepawali (Kaali Puja) may be treated as National festival of this village. All People of this village wish to be in their village during Kaali Puja.
- Dussehra and Holi are also celebrated with full zest and fervour.
- Sama Chakeva, Chaurchan, Chhath, Raksha Bandhan are other main festival of this village.
This village can boast of producing lots of Engineers, Managers, Civil servants, educationists and other professionals of various fields.
