Appointment Question[edit]

The article says the Chairperson is appointed by the Emperor. Other sources (e.g. Japanese Supreme Court page) say that only the PM and the Chief Justice of Japan are appointed by the Emperor and all other officials are just "appointed" by the Cabinet itself. They explain this as an important feature that emphasizes the importance of those 2 offices, as opposed to others. Venqax (talk) 12:30, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
