"Notable" People[edit]

The alumni people template has been on the page for over than 2 months, but no-one has created any new articles, or provided any references, to show that the people are notable.
I have, therefore, removed all names without an article, or a detailed reference from a reliable, independent, source to prove they are notable as WP:N.
In case someone wants to work on these in the future the removed names are:-

  • Professor Muhammad Nawaz Channa, Principal (Govt: Degree Muslim Science College
  • Professor Amina Khamisani-Channa, a researcher, educationist and author.
  • Professor Asghar Channa, a professor of surgery in Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.
  • Khan Sahib Ali Bux Channa, a profile during pre-independence.
  • Muhammad Abdullah Shouq Channa, an Urdu language
  • Gulzar Ahmed Channa, Deputy Inspector General of Prisons,
  • Justice Z.A. Channa, former judge of Sindh High Court.
  • Barrister Muhammad Azmatullah Channa, member Lincoln's (London)
  • Engr. Iftikhar A. Channa, faculty member at NED University Karachi

Channa is a branch of Lohana[edit]

According to Lohana's history, Channa is a branch(surname) of Lohana. Mokah and Rasil were two brothers of Channa branch[1] , who fought against Arabs then made a treaty with them. They were son of Basayah Samani. According to historian Chintaman Vinayak Vaidya Samma is a branch of Lohana.[2]

So I suggests admin to edit this page and made edit that Channa, Lakha, Samma, Sahta and Kotak are branches of Lohana. You may find these surnames is Lohana caste.
