Status and Advice[edit]

As reviewing administrator, I did not delete the article. It seems clear that Michelez is historically important, and probably meets our notability requirements. The article does need some strengthening--the most important criterion for any creative artist is the documented presence of works in the permanent collections of major museums. Thank you for keeping the article and for your advice on possible improvements. I was actually a bit frustrated that User:Compassionate727 placed a speedy deletion within one minute after uploading, which didn't give him much time at all, to check the relevance or even think about strengthening the article himself. Now I am glad to see that nothing is as black and white as he thinks, but there are some shades of grey in between. --NearEMPTiness (talk) 22:29, 27 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
