Opinion
[edit]I intend to delete some statements of opinion from this article. If anyone objects they can restore them. 82.21.65.109 10:29, 26 March 2007 (UTC) I have (I hope) improved the tone and deleted the "tone" box. 82.21.65.109 10:46, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
- The whole thing needs a bit of work: at the moment there seems to be more on Churchward than Collett himself! Good luck. --Old Moonraker 13:29, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
Thank you. I have deleted some text which is duplicated on the Churchward page. 82.21.65.109 15:25, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
Obituary
[edit]His obituary appeared in The Times (No. 52402), 28th August 1952, p.6.SwindonLocal (talk) 01:50, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
Enlarged article
[edit]I have enlarged this article, based on the sources I have to hand. I have nothing that deals with the diesel shunters, and very little that mentions non-locomotive related developments. Wikimedia has some nice pictures of Collett-designed coach bogies: can anyone dig up enough material to justify using them? --Verbarson (talk) 21:23, 18 September 2021 (UTC)
- Memo to self — I have totally forgotten the Earl/Dukedog hybrids.--Verbarson (talk) 16:29, 21 September 2021 (UTC)
