Anachronism

His family did not buy him a commission in the Scots Guards - the practice of obtaining commissions by purchase for self or others was abolished in the 19th century, before his birth. I am changing the reference in line with the situation in his lifetime.Cloptonson (talk) 13:32, 13 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
