[edit]

Please do not revert again til the short sentence/3-month sentence is resolved at the Yarrow RfC. In the meantime, please read WP:POINT. It's the basis for my reversion. Don't call me a vandal, please. David in DC (talk) 01:57, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a verifiable link to the page, which provides more detailed information. Please do not remove again. Please do not try to link this to some other dispute you had in an article you disengaged from. Please read WP: POINT before again removing my verifiable link. Please WP:AGF.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 18:38, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
What does this article have to do with Peter Yarrow. Is the discussion on that article oriented towards editing that article, or on setting a precedent that will apply to all biographies, including those of dead subjects? ·:· Will Beback ·:· 18:46, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Toward setting a precedent. He's trying to go to evey page JkP cites as saying "a short sentence" or "a brief sentence" and replacing with exact dates. He's taunting about it on the Yarrow talk page David in DC (talk) 19:02, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If the aim is to set a precedent then that should be discussed in a more-widely viewed page than talk:Peter Yarrow. Since this article is about a dead person BLP doesn't apply here, so I don't see why you object to adding this info. Articles stand on their own, and if you don't have an objection to the sentence length being added here then you shouldn't delete sourced, neutral info. ·:· Will Beback ·:· 19:06, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have added to this page by including a verifiable link which hereto was not there. I am NOT adding this link to make any point. Please assume good faith. Please do not remove it again. Charles Lahr has been deceased for decades so the BLP is not applicable in any event! John celona (talk) 19:12, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am restoring the link to Lahr's jail sentence. It is verifiable. I did not add this link to prove any "point". The Peter Yarrow dispute is based on the BLP. Lahr is not living. Therefore, there is no "point" for me to make as the BLP is inapplicable to this page. John celona (talk) 01:16, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

John celona stated that "The final solution is a hoax" in this edit concerning articles Holocaust and Holocaust denial. He has not backed down from that statement. Holocaust denial is uncivil and offensive.[1]   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 18:40, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That was a sardonic comment in response to another users threats, as the context of that discussion would reveal. You have posted the above sentence, grossly taken out of context, at least 5 different placesJohn celona (talk) 00:52, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
First Peter Yarrow, now the Holocaust? What do thse have to do with Charles Lahr? I still don't see why we shouldn't give the specific prison term the subject received. Please stick to the topic rather than introducing unrelated accusations. ·:· Will Beback ·:· 20:14, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
