the posthumous works of Kurt Gödel

[edit]

Can there be such things? They were published posthumously.217.232.216.36 (talk) 09:29, 8 June 2010 (UTC) ...................... VANDALISM OF THE ARTICLE. Steven Mandelker received his PhD under Parsons at Columbia. His name was added to the list of such persons in the article. Some vandal removed it. The name is being put back. Given Mandelker's many contributions to philosophy, this vandalism is impossible to justify. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.94.63.102 (talk) 11:05, 18 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the name, it was not vandalism. The Template:infobox academic makes it clear that only students notable enough for their own wikipedia article should be listed and people without can be validly removed. If Mandelker is notable enough for an article and someone chooses to write one, then his name can be added but until then it should not be re-added.
