Unbalanced[edit]
This article is written entirely from POV Roman Catholic sources. The sources are hagiographical, not historical. No effort to present alternate viewpoints is attempted, for the sake of neutrality. An excessive amount of space is devoted to the Holy Face business, which is a quaint and limited devotional practice, to the exclusion of the bishop's work in the two dioceses he headed. It sounds as though the only thing the bishop did was to read some documents, which he then allowed to be made public; then he gave permission for a cult to be built up, with a center and a group of priests. Some attempt should be made to discover the bishop's background. I added a source for this purpose.
