Gift from Stuart Symington?[edit]

If memory serves I think Charlie O was originally a gift from Stuart Symington who preferred a Democratic Donkey to a Republican mule. When the Athletics left there was a controversy over whether the mule should go also. I am still looking for a source to get confirmation. Americasroof 00:46, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
