Miami University

[edit]

The article states that he returned to Miami (Fla), and enrolled at Miami University (Ohio). The school in Florida is the University of Miami. Which is correct? Dementia13 (talk) 01:19, 24 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Faculty Warning

[edit]

Article states, "When Miami faculty members discovered that he was playing rock and roll for a square dance they warned him to continue with this "lower forms of music". "

This sentence has a mistake somewhere. Did the faculty warn him to not continue? Or did they encourage him to continue? I suspect the former, but someone with access to the source should fix the sentence.

Is there a Sessionography for Charlie McCoy? Vast undertaking but worth doing...

Why isn't this recording mentioned?77Mike77 (talk) 01:56, 7 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

In fact, his early band, the Escorts, isn't mentioned at all! https://www.discogs.com/artist/2641422-Charlie-McCoy-And-The-Escorts 77Mike77 (talk) 02:00, 7 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
