citations/sources that authenticate charlie parsons...

[edit]

i am curious as to what the sources/citations are that authenticate that charlie parsons is the creator of this television show??-- is there a reliable source from the affiliated network or something else? -sio. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.230.224.27 (talk) 00:07, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If by "this television show" you mean Survivor then you can look at the citations now on the page but it's not very hard information to find if you just google him. Louieoddie (talk) 07:31, 6 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Tone of entry

[edit]

This entry seems far from Wikipedia's standards for a reasonably high profile person. Huge positive impact? Changed the face of television? "continues to create punchy headlines with its originalitY"? It reads like the Charlie Parsons publicity unit wrote it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2401:A400:2C00:A500:3C61:1833:E5B3:E3A5 (talk) 10:43, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@2401:A400:2C00:A500:3C61:1833:E5B3:E3A5: I have added an advert template. You could edit the article to remove the promotional language. TSventon (talk) 11:25, 3 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

London Weekend?

[edit]

Did LWT really make Network 7? This BFI article suggests Sunday Productions for Channel 4. I won't change it because LWT may have had some involvement but could someone who knows more please clarify? http://www.screenonline.org.uk/tv/id/1331427/ MongogramForCandy (talk) 20:00, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

again with the 'co-founded planet 24 with geldof'

[edit]

this is historically inaccurate. he & alli started 24 hour productions, which later merged with geldof's planet-tv.

both were clients of limehouse, & merged during the first season of 'the word'.
