She could not have been the "Dauphine of France", the Salic Law prevented females from inheriting the throne since 1316. She was thus a Princess of France, not a Dauphine. Okay, now I'm thinking the original was saying she was born anywhere between 1516 and 1524, and I found another Charlotte de Valois supposedly born in 1461. So who knows. I'm reverting to the original entry and leaving the verification tag up. Elizabeyth 17:34, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
