Conflict of interest

[edit]

At least one major contributor to this article appears to have a close personal or professional connection to the topic, and thus to have a conflict of interest. Conflict-of-interest editors are strongly discouraged from editing the article directly, but are always welcome to propose changes on the talk page (i.e., here). You can attract the attention of other editors by putting {{request edit}} (exactly so, with the curly parentheses) at the beginning of your request, or by clicking the link on the lowest yellow notice above. Requests that are not supported by independent reliable sources are unlikely to be accepted.

Please also note that our Terms of Use state that "you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation." An editor who contributes as part of his or her paid employment is required to disclose that fact. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 13:37, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information regarding the location of the headquarters as well as the number r of employees is regurlarly change by à misinformed member visait the company web site you Will see that the company is bases on Amsterdam and has 5500 employees worldwide Daisy93500 (talk) 21:06, 15 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
If you had spent a little more time learning about Wikipedia, Daisy93500, you'd know that we care little or not at all what people or companies say about themselves, and instead base our articles on what is reported in independent reliable sources. This seems to be as good a time as any to ask you exactly what your connection to the company is, and whether you have used any other username to edit here. You might like to take a look at this company page, where the headquarters are stated to be at Drancy in France, and the number of employees is stated to be 6000. As I said, we don't care what the company says, but the source in the article seems to have got its facts from somewhere. If there's an independent reliable source which gives different, perhaps more recent, information, please mention it here, on this talk page. Dear Justlettersandnumbers, Thanks for your explanations. By the way, the company page you mention seems quite old. Please visit: http://openleis.com/legal_entities/724500XCK98L25AA2537/Chassis-Brakes-International-B-V- You will see that the Company is located in Amsterdam. The FIEV website mentions the French entity of Chassis brakes International. Maybe should we precise it the text. The French entity of Chassis Brakes International is member of the FIEV. I don't dare to enter my changes now. Regarding the number of countries, I have found the article below http://www.recruiter.co.uk/news/2015/11/us-chassis-brakes-takes-up-cornerstones-software/ Regarding the number of employees, the one below https://www.cornerstoneondemand.co.uk/chassis-brakes-cornerstone-global-talent-management-HR (I thought it was 5500 now but they are saying 5300.) The people mentioned on top of the page is not me. My fist alias on Wikipedia is the one I use (Daisy93500). Best. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Daisy93500 (talkcontribs) 08:34, 16 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
