Mistake in name in Arabic

[edit]

First name in Arabic reads Ahmed, not Mohammed. Can anyone please correct? I wasn't able to.

Done. Thank you for noticing that error. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 00:10, 1 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Revirvlkodlaku: Alhane wa chabab is meaningless to the readers, so why do you think that its translation is not needed? M.Bitton (talk) 15:18, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@M.Bitton, Alhane wa chabab is as meaningless as Rolling Stone or Kerrang! I don't think there is a rule or guideline about providing translations to non-English names. Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 02:51, 24 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You're comparing apples to oranges. Neither of those is non-notable and in Arabic. M.Bitton (talk) 09:08, 24 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think I am. I'm pointing out that not understanding the meaning of a magazine title is not a big deal, and including a translation is non-standard. Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 13:02, 24 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I know you are. The meaning of "Rolling Stone" is covered in the Rolling Stone article. Likewise for Kerrang (in the lead section). M.Bitton (talk) 15:58, 24 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
