Assessment Comments

[edit]

This is a very informative article. In my opinion, it can serve as an example for many other African biography articles. It can be enhanced by a few photos of the subject, of ships he served on, of Ghana's High Commission in Canberra, of his farm, etc. It can have more inline references. I think the average reader would appreciate shorter paragraphs. I am willing to attempt paragraph division myself. I'll also check to see if I can do more linking from and to the article.Gallador (talk) 11:57, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pronunciation

[edit]

The pronunciation of his name in IPA would be helpful. 99.238.74.216 (talk) 04:16, 16 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Clarity

[edit]

The subject of this article is clearly important, yet the narrative and timeline are difficult to follow. I deleted what seemed to be subjective statements and parts of the article that were tangential. I left several tags where the statements could be accurate, but I couldn't find an outside source. There are various references to people who are not clearly introduced; therefore, it comes across as though the reader came to the table knowing who they are.
