Notability

I hope nobody minds if I mostly c&p from my "Luna Lane" comments. - Why is her notability being questioned? Does an adult entertainer have to be interviewed by Howard Stern to be notable? No. It's the subject matter of her acting that is drawing the review. How else would one explain the wikipedia article on Stanislav Ianevski, an actor with one appearance in a Harry Potter movie to his credit? To a porn aficionado she is quite notable. Why must editors seek to press their moral standards onto the entire project? She has several adult movie appearances and a multitude of other material available. You don't find adult entertainers notable? Go create content on people you do find notable instead of hitting your moral objection button. Cheapcheap 20:51, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

  • I find this highly amusing. I'm the person who added the notability tag to this article. If you take a look at the participants list at Wikipedia:WikiProject Porn stars, you'll find my name there as well, plus I have worked to get fair-use sources for the actresses' photos. I believe I am the farthest thing from someone who finds porn to be morally objectionable. Tabercil 21:28, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
    • I did in fact notice that a short time later. It's why I commented on your talk page shortly after. Cheapcheap 00:02, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

I Find it kind of funny that the Article about the porn star has been replaced by this one, but the talk page still reflects discussion about the pornstar. shouldn't this be archived somewhere else or something? What I mean is, someone comes to a page about a film writer, then goes to the talk page to find discussion as to whether this person is notable as a pornstar. Doesn't make sense. 70.78.84.7 21:02, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
