Extinct Towns[edit]

I'm not sure if this matters because they're listed as "unincorporated communities", but Chester, Gresham and Needmore are almost entirely housing now (except for maybe a church).

Needmore, for example, used to have a store, a dance hall and the church, plus a mechanic some years later. The store and the hall were out of business before 1986 and the mechanic closed up his garage sometime in the last twenty years. Only the church still operates, and even then probably sparsely, as most religious folks go to Charlotte for services. (Or Lansing if they're not Christian.) 2602:301:779A:FC0:D536:7543:77C4:C3F4 (talk) 03:27, 10 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
