Content[edit]

This page needs some work on it (IMHO). It doesn't need stuff related specifically to the canal (which is why I removed the information about the breach which only affected the unconnected section of the canal anyway, and when I get around it it, the main Chesterfield Canal page needs tidying up with respect to that). I also removed the bit relating to Derbyshire because the Canal spends more time meandering through South Yorkshire (Rotherham) and Nottinghamshire (Worksop, Retford etc) than it does through Derbyshire. I'll try and fill it out as best I can, but without regurgitating a load of stuff off the Trust web site, there's not a heck of a lot can be said. Sorry if this has upset or offended anyone...
