Chair and Chiavari chair

Can somebody please explain me the difference from a normal chair and a Chiavarina one? If I search on google chair it shows chair like the one in the pictures in this page (the White House ones). I don't think that the ones in the pictures are particular made in Italy chairs. Druntamah (talk) 15:43, 30 April 2015 (UTC)

Hoax

I a not sure if this is a hoax. This started out as a translated version of the Italian wiki. Which started in 2012. I found this website which claims to "In 2004, we switched gears and began experimenting with wooden Chiavari Chairs for the special event industry with a focus on catering to both local and international businesses." A whois shows the site was created in 2004. So if it is a hoax it is one that did not start here. BlueworldSpeccie (talk) 13:26, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

Hi, I know for sure that Chiavari city had a lot of chairs manufactorers in the last centuries, but I can't say if "Chiavari chair" is the particular kind of chair shown in the White House pics of the article. Those seems to me standard chairs and not chairs that exists thanks to Chiavari's past chair manufactorers. Druntamah (talk) 13:57, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
Well I found that missing hubpages link. http://edelhaus(dot)hubpages(dot)com/hub/Chiavari-Chairs-History-of-a-Beautiful-Chair-Throughout-the-Ages . too bad we probably can't use it. BlueworldSpeccie (talk) 14:08, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

Contested deletion

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... it's part of the history of the city. It's a fact not an advertising — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nello.brunelli (talkcontribs) 22:13, 28 February 2017 (UTC)
