source for being the state symbol of Massachusetts

[edit]

Would this be a good source? -184.56.76.66 (talk) 17:13, 28 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Chickadee call

[edit]

The article says that their normal call is fee-bee, but I believe this is a mistake. At least in the case of the Black-capped Chickadee, this is their song, not their call. Their regular call is either a single chip or the full chickadee dee dee. Aythya affinis (talk) 14:42, 4 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

taxobox

[edit]

I see the old taxobox was commented out nearly a year and a half ago, but surely we can use {{paraphyletic group}} instead? - UtherSRG (talk) 01:32, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What they eat

[edit]

I've seen chickadees eating pine tree sap in Maine. They peck at the tree and eat sap that comes out. 2603:7080:2E00:F950:599A:3F9:4FB4:4B4F (talk) 17:13, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What you've observed is not pertinent, as it amounts to original research. If you have an independent and reliable source you can cite that says they eat sap, you may update the article with that information, supported by the appropriate citation. - UtherSRG (talk) 19:42, 13 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
