Question about statement in opening blurb

[edit]

I'm not confident enough to remove this myself, so I'll defer to a more experience contributor.

In the opening blurb it mentions the following: "He is best known for writing the novels The Fishermen (2015) and An Orchestra of Minorities (2019), both of which were shortlisted for the Booker Prize in their respective years of publication, making Obioma one of only two writers to have been honoured in this way, the other being Rohinton Mistry."

The statement is followed by two links to the shortlists for the two years that Obioma was included and there isn't any reference to Mistry.

This article has a list of who has been shortlisted multiple times, which is more than two. Is there some intricacy in the wording that I'm missing (e.g. being shortlisted for two sequential books) or is the statement just incorrect?

Thanks for the heads-up, Kurtto. I could find no justification in sources suggesting that the two writers were unique in any way relating to the Booker Prize, so just removed that bit. I also did a bit more tidying while I was there. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 08:12, 27 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
